I AM ALL YOURS

I was wandering in the darkness of desperation,
In search of a luminary that has a light of her own,
That could enlighten my soul,
With her light of love pure, pious and cool.

Holding an abloom rose in one hand, a lamp of compassion on the other,
Smilingly you entered into my sphere.
Like an old friend, you placed your hand on my shoulder,
Whispered words of assurance in my ears.

Your laughter was natural, originating honestly from your heart,
Blooming more marvelously than the moonbeams of a full moon night.
Your tone was sweeter than the tweeter of a nightingale,
Your honeyed words gradually intoxicated my soul.

Your words, laughter echoed in my ears,
Your thoughts rehearsed in my core,
Your glow enlightened my person,
Even when you were out of the scene.

What was to happen?
I discovered a new horizon,
Fell in love and became yours,
Began to move on holding your fingers.

COUNTING THE DAYS

Oh, Spring my darling;
You assured me that you are coming,
To refresh and excite my body and soul,
With your divine magical feel.

You do not know what the tyrant summer,
Had done with me after your departure.
Due to my intimacy with you, he showed his wrath,
Burnt me with his blazing beams and gust of hot breath.
The more I used to remember your cool cuddle,
The more torturous was his feel.

Rainy, too was not lagging behind the summer,
Made me deaf with his roar of thunder,
Frightened me a lot with his sword of lightning,
Dipped me to suffocation with his heavy showering.

Winter! Don’t be swayed by her enticing white dress,
She too turned out to be a good-looking sorceress,
Devastated my much adored innocent flowers,
With the swing of her snowy thousand flippers.
She Made miserable my days, sleepless my nights
By persistently blowing her freezing wind trumpet.

I sink and swim in the river of tears counting the days,
Grasping a log of hope and an oar of your promise.
Only my heart knows the essence of pain I passed though,
Holding you humbly inside, as a testimony of my love for you.

LAST DOOR

When you opened your door towards me,
I closed all of my doors with my own hands,
Towards the rest of the world.

After a few days of oneness,
And sincere exchange of hearts,
You wished to close yours and desert.

I did not ever desire anything, did I?
Except a transparent friendship,
A pious and divine relationship.

I remain humble and truthful to you,
Wish you to acknowledge my devotion,
And respect my delicate emotions.

You never understand the man,
His selfless contributions, his caring behavior,
His pains, the yearning of his interior.

Maybe it was impractical or difficult for you,
To look into the eyes of the truth,
Rather, it was easier to change your path.

Surprisingly for me, my sincerity lost,
And I got desertion and isolation,
As a reward of my selfless adoration.

When life closes all doors and windows,
Death smiles waiting at the last door,
To welcome the left out on its floor.

Now it is time for me to enter that last door,
And accept it gladly as my destiny,
Maybe, this is all that your wishes for me.

CONVERSATION 1

You wish a pause in our conversation,
For a brief period,
Do you know what that implies?
That means you wish,
A gardener to remain away from his flower,
A bee to stop gathering honey for some days,
A poet to remain away from his pen for a period.

I know the sorrow of detachment,
From you for a few seconds is heavier,
Than the heaviest mountain of the earth.
Still I agree with a smile,
Do you know why?
I cannot let any wish of yours remain unfulfilled,
For me my happiness is always secondary.
Moreover, my love for you is,
A firm, serene, sober and smooth flow,
Independent of period, events and individuals.

I know what will happen,
During this gap of communication.
As an ocean goes deeper going away from shore,
The sky goes wider going away from the earth,
My heart will become keener in you,
And hold you closer with more enthusiasm in it.
My devotion will becomes deeper,
And more vibrant in this detachment.
My pen will paint you with more thick pink ink in my poems.

YOUR EYES

I do not ever see you fully,
As whenever we meet,
My eyes get tangled,
In the labyrinth of your vast eyes,
I fail to see anything beyond them.

You would ask me,
How is it possible?
I do not have a clue,
To satisfy you,
But it’s true.

As I travel in them,
I visualize a thousand varied dreams,
Many of them coincide mine ones,
Appealing me to participate and encourage
In their fulfillment.

I witness a huge thirst in them,
To become someone’s own,
To get one honest and selfless love,
I decide to give that divine gift,
To you as per my capabilities.

I identify in your eyes,
Two vast oceans of knowledge in their glory
Huge tides of wisdom striking their coasts,
I decide to have a permanent stay there,
To collect some pebbles for my life,
Drink some drops for my existence.
