The Pandavas were deprived from their ancestral
throne,
By the unrighteous Kauravas and their illegal
possessions,
For which a war became evident between the
brothers,
That Sri Krishna wished to avert as a peace
messenger.
As a creator, he wished to carry out his dual
duty duties,
To restore peace among his subjects and
safeguard justice,
Hence, he humbly pleaded before the
Hastinapur crown,
To grant five villages to the Pandavas, they
can call their own.
Duryodhana, the prince underestimated the
power of truth,
Significance of Justice and the almighty Sri
Krishna’s worth.
He categorically rejected their very small
offer,
Riding on the vanity of muscle power and an advantage
of number.
Furthermore, he ordered his soldiers to arrest
the messenger,
That compelled the Lord come to his original
identity of Vishnu, the creator,
But was it enough to remove the strap of arrogance
from his sagacity?
It remained there intact and caused destruction
of his whole dynasty.
Whenever there is a rising up of the wickedness,
And a decay of the righteousness,
I manifest myself on the earth among human beings
To save the sacred souls and destroy the
sinners.
These are Sri Krishna’s precious assurances,
To the holy souls, his dependents, his
believers,
That he conveyed to Arjuna his devoted friend,
Latter on in the Mahabharata battlefield.
यदा यदा हि धर्मस्य ग्लानिर्भवति भारत ।
अभ्युत्थानमधर्मस्य तदात्मानं सृजाम्यहम् ॥

Sri
Krishna, the incarnation of the supreme power Vishnu, approached the royal
chamber of Hastinapura, as a messenger of the Pandavas and placed a peace
proposal in front of the emperor Dhritarastra to avert a probable fierce war
between the Kauravas and Pandavas.
Before
the emperor could react, his arrogant son Duryodhana began shouting at Sri
Krishna. He was proud of his ninety-nine brothers and warriors like Vishma,
Dronacharya, Krupacharya and Karna etc.
He
rejected the proposals, even refused to grant five villages to the deprived and
deserving Pandavas.
When
Duryodhana ordered his soldiers to arrest Sri Krishna, he showed His Vishwarupa
(his identity as the owner of the universe) to the whole royal court. Even
then, the strap of arrogance did not remove from the wisdom of Duryodhana. He
preferred a war against the Pandavas of whom Sri Krishna was a friend, well-wisher
and adviser. A strap of arrogance continued to blind Duryodhana throughout the
Mahabharata war at the Kurukhetra. He failed to visualize the grip of destruction
that gradually but evidently proceeded towards his family. No need to mention
the outcome, the five Pandava brothers emerged winners over the one hundred
Kaurava brothers (after all Sri Krishna was on their side, justice was on their
side)
