One principle, one policy, one path,
Leads to divinity is speaking truth,
Certainly in a smart manner,
Using words pleasing and sober.
Instead of saying, “Your father is dead”,
One can say,” His soul rested in heavenly abode”
But in no way a positive news can be conveyed,
To appease or comfort one’s restless mind.
Hiding or avoiding or tempering a truth,
And administering a pleasant untruth,
To appease someone or achieve a goal,
Is a path adverse to the morality eternal.
There always is a strong, unsurpassable wall,
Between truth and untruth, God and devil.
One can’t be half-honest and half-dishonest,
Either one is honest and with the God or against.
I know, I will die unpopular,
As I administer the truth, both sweet and bitter,
As I think half-truth is half-lie in disguise,
And nothing but opportunism; away from holiness.
I categorically disagree with the Manu Smriti decree,
that only the pleasant truth and not the unpleasant truth should be
administered. I believe God lives in the truth.
Has your tongue become that of the Christ? Two-edged? Hug
ReplyDeleteYou could never be unpopular, to the majority who know you intentions and the path you traverse!!! For HE is with you!!!
