I am happy

I wished truth from you,

You taught me to lie a bit,

I trusted you with all my heart,

You taught me how to deceive,

Selflessly I went on inspiring you,

You established that none should be selfless

I worshiped your inner being,

You left me to cry in solitude,

Why this happened?

Because, I am a man having a child’s innocence,

But you?

A grown up woman with all cunningness.

True, the world is full of you, and your like,

Still, I am happy with a single me.
