When,
The most powerful human emotions,
Like love
or hatred,
Occupies one’s
mind
A thin membrane,
Spreads
over the eyeball,
A thick layer of
dust,
Covers the eardrums,
Some
preconceived notions,
Shadows
the wisdom,
The
combination,
Cripple
proper hearing,
Viewing and thinking.
The sun beams of
truth,
Fails to filter
through,
The
dense cloud,
Of those obstructions.
The harvest of judgement,
Comes out,
Malnourished, imperfect and
biased,
Even in the field of the wisest person.
An infatuated soul,
Accepts gladly,
The thunderous drum beats,
Of the loved one.
A soul
occupied with hatred,
Refuses to appreciate,
The grandeur of flute,
Played by the person,
One hates.
Wow impressive as always.
ReplyDeleteMaybe others find it hard to believe that someone so wonderful could really love them. Having been fooled so many times before one becomes wary. seeking assurance, in order to preserve heart and mind.
is it hatred or fear that overwhelms your loved one?
