Step up to the mic

Its not vital to be on the mic,
Not significant to perform on a stage,
But it  matters what one want to say,
How big way and new one's words ,
Opinions, benefit,inspire,awake the world.
Just singing a song ,delivering a speech
Or reading out a poem,
Without affecting  the course of time,
May gather claps of encouragement,
But a permanent impact matters most.
The claps before the performance,
Or the applaud after the delivery,
Matters when one becomes talk of the town.
Its not great to be important,
But it is important to be  great.
