Our life ,our existence,
But never think about repaying the debts,
That we incur from the day we begin our journey,
As a seed in her womb, till the end of our lives.
We owe to the air,
The oxygen we inhale,
The carbon dioxide we exhale,
But never ponder about maintaining its purity,
Rather carelessly cause pollution,
For our growth, our comforts.
We owe to the water,
Each minute, each hour we live,
But what we pay back in return ?
Drain our dirt, poisonous industrial wastes,
And our garbage in to it,
Waste water mindlessly.
We owe to the nature, it's treasure,
All the animate and inanimate objects,
Something or the other for our life style,
And every now and then we explore,
I should say we devour them,
As our birth right of being a big brother,
But never consider our duties,
Towards preserving and keeping them in shape.
We hoard weapons of mass destructions,
Chemical and biological to kill to ourselves,
Our nature, the habitation and its habitants,
For supremacy and for ego and vanity,
In the name of patriotism and nationality.
We talk of universal brotherhood from above our throat,
Sadly but truly not from inside of our heart,
Thus by deceiving to none but to ourselves,
And to God who had loved to create us.
Our such indifferent attitude,
Silly and reckless behaviour,
Towards our great benefactors and even towards ourselves,
Would sure cause our end one day,
And we will be responsible for all that.
Hence let us wake up now,
Before it's too late,
Control and guide our conduct,
Become serious about their well-being,
Which is in fact our own future !!!!
