POSITIVE CRITICISM

Knowledge can only get accessed to hard disc of our brain,
Only when our curious eyes and eager ears are alert,
Prepared to accept gladly and scrutinize impartially,
Every statement that we face during our work and social behavior.

One needs to bear a great heart and wide acceptability,
To judge wisely and  patiently all inputs as one faces,
Some of them may be direct, bitter and hurting,
At the same time crucial, essential and beneficial.

Smelling a rat in everything represent  dumb ears,
And blind eyes even for things intended to deliver good,
This happens with those who like only appreciations,
But are reserved, severe and irritant about criticism

Mostly, people do not like to displease you or like to please you,
Hence hey give soothing and suiting but not befitting comments.
Those who sway away to these sweet words or are thirsty of them,
Unfortunately for them, they stay stagnant in matters of growth.

But those who sincerely want our growth, betterment grant honest statements,
Jeopardizing relations, even at times hurting emotions for the right cause.
This positive criticism comes from a well wisher, the one who truly loves us,
And is intolerant even about our very small mistakes.

An unpolished diamond does not glitter,
Gold shines only when burn in fire,
No human being knows everything and thus is naturally erroneous,
A positive critic opens our eyes towards our shortcomings.
