At times I smile, at times I cry

At times I smile, at times I cry,
Do you wonder why?

I smile, over my silliness,
I cry over my expectations,
From the world around me.

I smile, as I expect,
Total truthfulness and transparency,
In words and deeds from people.

The I cry,
The world has lost all these,
To selfishness, ego and anger.

I smile and I cry,
Just because I am a fool.
