THE ESSENCE OF LOVE


You live far away at present,
We do not chat or meet,
Still, I dwell in excitement,
My days pass in contentment,
Because I nourish you in my heart.


For many this is something absurd,
May they say I am crazy or stupid,
These are those trading people,
For whom love means to gain something.
Whereas the real essence of love is in giving something.
