You do not need to give the proofs,

Of your truth, purity and sincerity,

With the shrewd use of your word power,

Or with fake smiles and crocodile tears.

Your actions, reactions,

Attitude and approach,

Towards truth, and the truthful persons,

Are the mirrors that reflect your character.

People will believe,

Whatsoever you proclaim,

You will successfully affect,

Their assessments and judgements,

Until they are far away from you.

But the day they will deal with you,

From a close quarter,

Their trust on your character,

And the mask that you wear,

Will move away like the morning dew,

That vanishes with the approach of the sun.
